Ruby Discovers Tape!

Ruby loves to draw, so much in fact that she can't stop once she starts! She can't stop until the notebook is full or it gets misplaced! Her Daddy brings her little notebooks from work that she fills with "machines", mostly herself and family, sometimes an animal will get thrown in. She is so very proud of these and we are too so we let her know so much, maybe too much! So she decides to turn the house into her personal gallery with.........yep, tape! Around every corner in out tiny lil house you can see some of her masterpieces, she even trades them out herself. She put this one one the inside of the bathroom door so it would surprise her Daddy when he got home and went to the bathroom. It is Ruby and me. She is actually the big one, it is us when we are "grown up"!

This one is her Indian Princess. She has a feather and some war paint on her face. Oh yeah, it is her as an Indian Princess..................DUH! It is in the living room next to the hall.

And a close up, sorry the flash was just too strong! You can kind of see the war paint!

This is one is of a fairy and a pic of her Daddy she was trying to write Daddy you are sad on it. Her words got a little out of order! They are in the kitchen!

This is a montage of pics. It is her favorite place for her artwork. I guess it is because it is where she ends up drawing a lot of her pictures here.

The last one is my favorite! It was scanned in so it is pretty light...sorry! It is a family pic. The extra child is Ducky. You might remember that with the last pregnancy Ruby declared that she will be calling the Baby, Ducky. Well she has kept up with that thought everyday and brings it up a lot. He/She makes some appearances in her artwork. I guess it is her way of dealing or just reminding me that she still wants a sibling and I need to get with it! The family is on their way to beach, we have matching sunshine shirts on and necklaces. The road and trees are under us.
We are getting ready to go on vacation (yea! yippie!) to the beach in about 2 weeks. Sooooo excited! Hope you all enjoyed my budding artist!
